Dear Pittsburgh AHU Members
Stronger Together…
For more than twenty five years, the Pittsburgh Association of Health Underwriters has advocated on behalf of benefits and insurance professionals throughout our region. The health insurance and benefits landscape has evolved and so has our association’s role in supporting you, our members, and your clients.

On January 1, 2024, the Pittsburgh AHU will become Pennsylvania NABIP. Merging with the local NABIP chapters in Central PA and Greater Philadelphia, along with the Pennsylvania state level Association of Health Underwriters (PAHU), together we will form ONE association dedicated to representing our members and committed to empowering all Pennsylvanians to make wise healthcare and benefits decisions and have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare and related services.

By combining resources, the new Pennsylvania NABIP will have the expanded capability to respond to new marketplace dynamics, offering our members a growing selection of professional educational opportunities, network-building events, and business development tools.

We are in the process of planning a comprehensive calendar of events for 2024 to be offered both in person and virtually in 2024 along with a full course of continuing education events.

Be sure to watch your email for upcoming announcements. Please reach out directly to Zachary Iovino, Pittsburgh AHU Secretary and Membership Chair with questions at ziovino@trustmarkbenefits.com. Thank you as always for your continued support and participation.

Respectfully,

Matt Cuomo, Pittsburgh AHU President                    Kenton Porter, Pittsburgh AHU & Vice President
